Sheffield Promoted at Simonton Windows

(Jun. 9) PARKERSBURG, W. VA. Scott Sheffield, a Simonton Windows employee since 2003, has been promoted to the position of Plant Manager for the companys McAlester, Okla. facility.

In his new role, Sheffield will oversee the operations at the 202,500-square-foot manufacturing plant in the Steven W. Taylor Industrial Park in McAlester. Prior to accepting this position, Sheffield worked as the Director of Operational Initiatives at Simonton. He has also held the positions of Plant Manager and Technical Manager of SimEx (the vinyl extrusion sister company to Simonton).

Sheffield will relocate to McAlester, where he will begin his new role on June 16, 2008. A graduate of Youngstown State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Sheffield has also served as interim Director of Global Sourcing at Simonton and has been responsible for a variety of manufacturing excellence projects.
